Back from BC! (well, been back for a while already …)

Hey Everyone!
I hope you missed me on my blog;-)I had an amazing time on my trip out to BC, both the business and the fun aspect of things! And photographically, it was truly a dream come true! The Island (Tofino, particularly) was simply amazing, as were my hikes through Glacier National Park, as was white water rafting on the Kicking Horse River, and even Vancouver (I do love that city)! I really can’t say enough about that trip! Well, I’m back into the thick of things, doing tons and tons of shoots (including yesterday, in the pouring rain for a family that flew in from all different places for this one day! Wow, that was wet, but super fun – just wait until you see those pics!) with beautiful and amazing people, which I really hope to share with you all soon. But I make no promises – this may be the only post you get for a week, haha.

A beautiful lake on the side of the road in Jasper that my friend and I stopped at while driving through. I couldn’t believe how perfect it was, just right there beside the highway!

The first picture is the 25-foot-high “sphere” suspended in the trees through rope that I slept in for a night at a place in Nanaimo.  It was soo cool!  They’re in Ripley’s Believe it or Not!  (That’s me up there trying not to fall down!).  The second shot was down by “First Beach” in Vancouver – just perfect timing as a rock runner was passing by.

White water rafting on the Kicking Horse River.  It wasn’t the first time I’ve been, but its always new everytime you go!  Its me at the front camera right (picture: courtesy Alpine Rafting, editing: mwah)

Taken at the Fairmont Hotsprings pool.  Right after white water rafting we went to stay over at the hotsprintgs to relax and I just couldn’t keep my camera away with such a spectacular mountain sunset and some pretty cool divingboard jumps!

This was the view *right* from our campground at Haynes Point provincial park by Osoyoose.  Simply spectacular!

Possibly my favorite shot from the entire trip.  This was taken on a hike in Glacier National Park.  After a particularly gruelling 500m vertical ascent there was this spectacular clearing that just took my breath away!  I think I’m getting this printed up 34×46 for my room!

Well, thats all for now, but there are a kazillion amazing shots to share yet from my trip (both business and fun) so keep your eye out.  I also have somewhere in the vicinity of 30 shoots to post to this blog;-)  I’ve been focusing on shooting and delivering the products to the clients instead of blogging (I know how crushed you are Whitney, haha) but key your eyes open – as things start to return to a reasonable pace mid October you should see a much more consistent rate of posting!  Bye for now and thanks for reading!
