Saskatoon Family Photographer – Von Hagen Family Reunion

Hey Everyone!
This really is amazing – I’m actually posting! This is weird ;-)

Well, if you remember from my post with all the sports pictures with Liz I said I was off to a family reunion session – well here it is!  The organizer of this fantastic shindig has been a long-time client of mine in a way and I was honored that she asked me to capture such a special moment – a family reunion for her in-law’s 50th wedding anniversary!  Congratulations!

Now, large groupings such as family reunions can be scarily daunting at times to photographers like me who focus on unposed, natural, and creative pictures, and everytime one comes up I find myself thinking “what did I get myself into” (even getting all 20 people to look at the camera at the same can be almost impossible!).  But after each one I am so glad that I took it on, and this family reunion was a step above the rest!  Everyone was relaxed and wanted to have fun  and it was just a fantstic environment to be working in!  Congratulations again and may you have many more years together with eachother and your amazing family!

(sorry if I spelled her name wrong) You did such a great job, even with the small kids, and I can't believe how perfect all of the pictures turned out. Thank you so much and I'll be sure to contact you again!

July 27, 2009 - 8:27 pm Justin - Hey Whitney! Thanks for the comments! Ya, I know, big groups are a little crazy sometimes but these were just fantastic and everyone was game! Hey, and I'm finally blogging again ;) Oh, and ya, that last shot is one of my favorites of all time too! Hmmm, maybe they'll like the shot so much the guy on the left will give me his sunglasses (they were really really awesome sunglasses, haha).

He was soooo relaxed and fun to interact with... and took so many beautiful family photos that truly captured the spirit of our lives together... THANK YOU Justin!!!
