Hey Everyone,
Have you ever noticed how being around a peaceful and sleeping newborn baby just makes everything in the world feel right? Its when you can feel the love that is present in the room and its beautiful. That was exactly how I felt looking over these pictures that I took of baby Joshua Block a few weeks ago. This new life is just a little reassurance that there is so much beauty and love in this world!
Now, don’t get me wrong, it was a 3+ hour session that included a good chunk of crying until we decided to replace a space heater by cranking up the entire house to 25 or 26 degrees, which prompted much sweating by the myself, and Jen and Devin. But you should have seen these proud first-time parents: it was an awesome environment to be in and I am so glad I had the wonderful opportunity of working with you all. What a blessing is to both of you, and for 180 minutes of my crazy life, he was a bit of a blessing to me to.
Devin loves to be in the kitchen, so this shot, more conceptual than anything, was something fun to try!
