Hey Everyone!
Taking a quick break from my machine gun session postings (still about 25 or so sessions I’d like to post, haha), I’d like to wish everyone well into the Christmas and holiday season! Sunday I spent the day with the fam as we all decorated the tree together and as tradition for supper we ordered in the best Chinese food in Saskatoon! Haha, I ate wayyyy too much, but it was so good and so worth it! As of last year I have been put incharge as “artistic director” for the tree, and I’m particularly happy how it turned out this year! This year our tree is a 10.5 foot high beauty, and after 600 lights, 40 yards of ribbon and probably 50-75 decorations I’m proud that this might be our best tree yet!
I really do love the Christmas season! It reminds us to take a break from our chaotic lives to get together with the people that we love and give thanks for all that we have been given and to just be greatful for the moments set before us. I’m really looking forward to seeing all my family this Christmas, and hopefully some friends that have since moved away as well. I really wish all of you an amazing Christmas blessed with much love and friendship!
Oh, and since I don’t do it nearly enough, I’d like to thank all of my clients who invite me into their lives and ultimately allow me to do what I love for a living! Its funny how many times I step back and just think “whoah. I’m actually doing this. and its all thanks to the wonderful people I get to work with on a daily basis.” It really is amazing, and I’d like to say Thanks!
Well, keep bundled up nice and warm; it doesn’t look like its getting much warmer any time soon. Ooooh what I would give for the “cold” weather I was shooting in two weeks ago (all -1 of it, haha). Over the Christmas holiday see how you can brighten the day of someone you know or even a random stranger! Oh, I love Christmas!
