Hey Everyone!
I thought since the weather has been warming up anyways I could save some of my summer posts for when the weather turns for the worst again, so here is the amazing wedding of Zandrae Witzaney and Jordan Redpath! Ok, so take a look at these pictures, particularly the reception. Nice, hey? Well, pretty much completely planned by Zandrae! She definitely got some skillz there, and oh how the wedding turned out! The weather wasn’t on our side so almost all the pictures were inside, but that wasn’t a problem at all, especially when working with this fantastic looking couple and beautifully decorated areas.
Oh, and I’m sure since none of my regular readers know that I just love receptions by now, I’ll mention it again, but this time double it! Zandrae set up the Venue perfectly, she had beautiful live music, and I will have to say that I think I’ve finally got my lighting setup more or less perfect! Zandrae and Jordan, it was an honor working with you two; your love is amazing, your faith a strong foundation, and I wish you a lifetime of amazingness!
Haha, this little guy was awesome. I named him spike cause he had kind of spiky hair - he always wanted a picture! But he was nothing compared to this crazy one, Z's grandma. Oh she was a wild one alright! So many great shots ...

Whew! What a bunch of great shots! And a way way way more to come! Thanks again you guys and I look forward to working with you two again sometime in the future!!! Oh, and incase anyone wants to know how dark it actually was for the reception, I was bracketing my focus because the AF just couldn’t grab it in time! To properly balance the ambient with the flash most of these shots were 1/60 @ F/1.4 @ 6400 ISO !!! I can’t wait for my 1D Mark IV to come in!! I will definitely be posting a review of that puppy! I am supposed to be getting the first one in Saskatchewan, and one of the very first ones in Canada! Yea!
Now what to post for Monday? Hmm, I guess it’ll depend on the weather
