Updates from Mexico!

Hey All!

I know I’ve been neglecting my blog but I’m currently in Mexico shooting a wedding with the fabulous and amazing Jesslaine (whose laptop I had to pry away from her sun burnt and pina colada ravaged fingers to do this post as my laptop doesn’t like Mexican wireless internet apparently…).  We are staying at the Barcelo Los Cabos Palace Deluxe and it is beyond amazing.  The wedding will be later on in the week and I can’t wait for it!

In the mean time I thought I would drop an update.  This first shot is with my brand new underwater housing for my camera.  Yes, super nerve wracking the first time I dunked the ol camera, but well, it just rocks!  Oh, and I couldn’t have done the shot without Jess holding me under the water with her food so I wouldn’t float up, lol.  I’m sure we were the biggest looking nerds in the pool, with our snorkle gear, big camera housing and the works, haha.  And the second picture is the debute of a new sport – taking bird pictures with the 16-35mm!  Haha, those birds were literally 3 feet away from me!  A little discerning, but luckily very friendly :)   Tomorrow the chase continues …

Thanks for dropping by! It’ll be crazy busy over the next little bit – I’ll be out of town more or less until May 8th, but I’ll try to keep updates. And there will be tons to share once I get back!

April 20, 2010 - 10:55 pm Justin - thanks man! haha, ya its super awesome! You'll see soon enough which one I'm using, I'll be getting a review done up on it real soon! It takes a lot of playing to be able to get the pictures right (in the end we resorted to Jess basically standing on me while I was down taking pictures, haha. And we're doing a snorkle excursion soon too so it'll be all sorts of awesome. Catch ya when I get back!
