Join Jonathan Gillingham for the “Wild Wonders & Northern Lights” photography workshop at Lac La Martre, Northwest Territories, where you’ll capture breathtaking landscapes, diverse wildlife, and the mesmerizing Northern Lights. By registering for a remote photography workshop with Jonathan Gillingham Photography, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Non-Refundable Registration: All registrations are non-refundable. However, they may be transferred to another individual with prior approval from Jonathan Gillingham Photography. To request a transfer, please contact jon@jgphotography.ca.
- Assumption of Risk and Liability Release: Participants acknowledge the inherent risks involved in outdoor photography workshops, including but not limited to physical exertion, weather conditions, and encounters with wildlife. By attending, participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with the workshop and agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Jonathan Gillingham Photography and its partners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action for personal injury, death, property damage, or loss arising from participation in the workshop. This release extends to the participant’s heirs, executors, and assigns.
- No Guarantees and No Refunds: Participants understand and agree that there are no guarantees regarding the sighting of specific natural phenomena, wildlife, or weather conditions. There will be no refunds or discounts if such expectations are not met.
- Image Use: Participants grant Jonathan Gillingham Photography and its partners the right to use photographs or videos taken during the workshop for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation.
- Conduct: Participants are expected to behave respectfully and cooperatively. Jonathan Gillingham Photography reserves the right to remove any participant from the workshop at their own expense and without refund for inappropriate or disruptive behavior.
- Event Cancellation: Jonathan Gillingham Photography reserves the right to cancel the workshop for reasons including but not limited to low enrolment or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund of their registration fee. However, Jonathan Gillingham Photography will not be responsible for any other costs incurred by participants (e.g., travel, accommodation).
- Inclement Weather: Participants acknowledge that weather conditions in the Northwest Territories are unpredictable and can change rapidly. Workshops will proceed regardless of weather conditions, and no refunds or discounts will be given due to unfavorable weather.
- Acceptance of Terms: By registering for the workshop, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions. Attendance at the workshop signifies acceptance of these terms.
